How long are you planning to wait before you get Sims 4?

This has come up in several conversations I've had, so I was wondering where others stood on this.  I plan to wait about 2 1/2 years (assuming willpower holds up that long) before I get it.  My logic is that A) It will be cheaper, B) There will be multiple expansions by then, and C) My daughter will be old enough to play it too, so we can start playing it together.  Of course, we'll see how well my willpower holds out  ;=)  Anyway, how long are you waiting?

0 minutes probably. I don't wait for games very often.

Yeah, I will probably also wait 0 minutes. I probably won't get the expansions right away, but I want the base game at least. And I want to see how the community grows around it, like when the Sims 3 first came out, people were panicking because creating CC was so much different than it was for The Sims 2. Yeah, I'm old.

I suspect that I'll wait a while as well. I only really started getting into 2 when 3 came out and I'm getting really into 3 now that four's on the way. Unless being on a forum like this makes me want 4 too much, it might well be the same

It took me a while to get the Sims 3 because we didn't have a computer good enough. We thought we would just skip The Sims 3 and go straight to 4. *Shakes Head*

I am going to wait until I finish my legacy, so that I don't become distracted. That way at least there will be a decent amount of CC and expansions when I eventually end up buying it.

I myself will probably get it as soon as possible (My lazy rear doesn't work, or earn money). I won't wait to "Finish" William's story, as he will move on with me, in some incarnation. Almost like the Doctor.. almost.. sorta... y'know.. almost

I'm going to wait at least a months to get because by then a lot of people will have it and I can read their opinions about the game.
